Starmount Forest Country Club is a great place to golf, play tennis, swim, relax and socialize. The Club offers both Social and Golf Memberships. Social members have full access to the Clubhouse, tennis facility, pool facility and all social events, with limited access to the golf course and golf events. Golf members enjoy full access to the golf course, Clubhouse, tennis facility, pool facility and all events.
Dating back to its beginning in 1930, Starmount has become the distinguished country club of the Greater Greensboro area service our members' every needs. Our 6,600-yard golf course provides challenges to the most avid golfers, and has hosted numerous professional and Pro-Am golf tournaments, including the 2007 North Carolina Amateur Tournament.
If you desire to play serious tennis, or just want to take tennis seriously, we have it all for you. Our tennis professional puts together a full tournament and event schedule, and provides first class instruction for tennis players of all ages and talent levels.
For our swimmers, we offer a 25-meter Olympic style swimming pool with two boards at the diving well, a shallow area for children, and a small wading pool for toddlers. The pool facility also features men's and women's locker rooms, and a full service snack bar.
In the fall of 2008, Starmount Forest opened a brand new, state-of-the-art Fitness Center. It is a center for wellness and relaxation in addition to physical fitness. The Center features personal training, a wide array of energizing fitness classes, steam and sauna, and professional massage therapists.
